Rebecca's take on what this smells like: This is a deeply amber scent for me (that is the distinct overall scent, on my skin). As it dries down, a beautifully subtle woody floral note appears (the Rosewood) that really compliments the labdanum to make this scent smell really luxurious. There is a note of spice present (from the rosewood perhaps) but it's really not overpowering (spices are not my bag!). Vanilla creeps through after a little while to bring forth a sweet edge, not sickly sweet (that's not by bag either!). The Madagascar vanilla sweet edge gives me a really comforting feel. It's quite hard to give this fragrance a one-liner because I continued to keep identifying the different notes when I went back to give it another whiff, but I'd put it as 'Woody Amber, touch of floral, touch of sweet'.
